Esta semana o tema foi o dia de S. Valentim e fazer algo para celebrar e oferecer a alguem especial. Depois de muito pensar la me decidi por decorar uma moldura. Usei uma moldura simples feita de cartao, introduzi a foto (tirada durante a nossa lua-de-mel) na ranhura lateral e cortei seccoes de fita que colei diagonalmente nos cantos e na base. A seguir pintei com tinta vermelha quaisquer partes do cartao nao cobertas pela fita e deixei secar. Como decoracoes finais, colei duas aplicacoes para tecido que simulam desenhos de tatuagens. Usei cola Fabri-Tac em todo o processo.
This week the theme was St. Valentine's Day and making something to celebrate and give to someone special. After much thought I decided to decorate a picture frame. I used a very simple cardboard frame, introduced the photo (taken during our honeymoon) in the side slot and then cut sections of ribbon that I glued diagonally on the corners and on the bottom. Next I painted red any areas not covered by the ribbon and let dry. As final decoration, I glued two fabric appliques that resemble tattoo designs. I used Fabri-Tac glue in the whole process
