Iron Craft Challenge #4 - Get Cozy

O desafio desta semana foi mangas para canecas ou copos descartaveis de cafe ou outras bebidas. Eu optei por tricotar e escolhi um desenho do livro "Vogue Knitting Stitchionary Volume 3: Color Knitting". Usei novelos Cascade 220 em branco, rosa e verde claro, e agulhas de duas pontas tamanho 5 US (3.75 mm). Montei 52 malhas e fiz cinco carreiras de meia em redondo com branco, depois segui o esquema da flor que tem mais dezasseis carreiras e, finalmente, mais cinco em branco. Terminei fazendo uma carreira de crochet em malha baixa em cada extremidade.

This week the challenge was to make coffee cozies for mugs or cups. I knitted mine and chose a pattern from the book "Vogue Knitting Stitchionary Volume 3: Color Knitting". I used Cascade 220 yarn in off white, pink and light green and double-pointed size 5 US (3.75 mm) needles. I cast on 52 stitches and knitted five rows in white, then the flower pattern that has sixteen more rows and finally another five in white. I finished by crocheting a round of single crochets on each edge.
